This is a very good thing that blues are doing in giving all season ticket holders the chance to have 10% discount in the club shop on the 8th december 6 -9. Finally they are giving something back to the blues fans. Also if you spend over £20 you qualify for a free stadium tour which would be fantastic. On the other hand, the 10% DOESN'T count for replica kit or trainig wear which is a sham but hopefully i'll be down there. What about you lot? |

Well that's just great  Just spent £105.00 in Dale End on Xmas Pressies today to make sure they were in as in the past merchandise seems to be on order or sold out after the 1st of December. Just my gripe :ph43r: |

its a sodding disgraceful offer if you ask me - 10% off the tat we sell - if you actually want something like a replica shirt or training gear then pay full price - you arent that much of a star customer! - then instead of offering season ticket holders free stadium tours anyway for spending hundreds of pounds on their season ticket in advance they expect you to spend another £20 on the same tat referred to earlier...BCFC - a **** take! yet again. Dont be fooled they are giving you nothing... wtf** |

What a pile of crap, this is quite offensive to be honest. *This excludes Replica Kits and Training wear? What the hell else would anyone else want to buy from that shop? Nice one blues, could give us ST's something decent, like free shirt printing? |

Good one, and possibly worth a visit. But what about us ST's who live miles away and can't get there - or maybe can, but travel costs would eliminate any saving ??. What about an on-line offer for ST's - surely some way of identifying ST holders in on-line shop ??. C.... KRO.. |

Not much of an offer is it ? Just about every shop is discounting prices to try to get sales for Christmas. I was in Debenhams yesterday. Bought a scarf 50% off. Loads of stuff 20%-50% off. Taking 10% off, excluding the items that people are most likely to want, making it for one day only & then dressing it up as a benefit to ST holders is an insult to the intelligence. |

If a lot of people do turn up to take advantage of this offer, then the shop won't be able to cope. And if the weather's like it is now, I wouldn't fancy queueing round the car park just for a couple of quid off the season DVD. So the club can't be expecting many. That's fine, don't have a problem with that. If you're in the area and there was something you wanted, then it's great you can get it cheaper. And the club'll still be making a profit on what they sell, albeit a smaller profit, so everybody's happy. But I really really wish they wouldn't try and sell it to us as if it's something marvellous. Pitching it at "our STAR customers, we thought you Season Ticket Holders deserved even more" - I'm sorry but they're taking the mickey. "We're certain you'll agree it's a brilliant offer" - well not all of us do. Oddly, not everyone believes the sort of junk mail that comes through the door every week either, and this is set at the same tacky level, even down to the "free prize draw to be in with the chance to win some great prizes". And then they carefully exclude the merchandise that their STAR customers might actually want to buy, namely kit and trainingwear. They're right about one thing though, their STAR customers do deserve more. It used to be normal business practice to put a lot of effort into keeping regular customers sweet. The idea of giving all the attention, special offers, discounted pricing, etc to new customers is relatively recent. But the tide is starting to turn. You've seen the TV advert mocking the mortgage company whose offers - even down to the lend of a pencil - are for "new customers only". Football clubs do have a captive market once we've bought our season tickets. But sales are down this year. And with the random days and times that matches are now played, and the special-offer pricing that means anybody paying more than £25 a game for their ST is losing out financially, they'll be down again next year even if we aren't relegated. Any business with "loyal" customers paying a significant amount in May for a product where the first instalment doesn't arrive till the August and only completes the following May, that business is risking that loyalty evaporating very rapidly if a "brilliant offer" like this one is really the best they can come up with. |

Anybody catch the invite for a christmas shopping night at the club shop for season ticket holders. Read quite nicely until the very end. All season ticket holders will receive 10% discount (so i'm thinking nice one), get to the end...."excluding replica kits and training wear" Don't mean to moan (cos i guess its a nice gesture..i think ;) ).....but what the hell is there left to buy in the shop if they exclude kits and training wear!! mmmmm i think i'll get me one of those o so chavy BCFC watches! not :D KRO |

It is time that the club gave something back to the season ticket holders but to exclude replica and training wear is wrong. There is nothing else buying from the club shop. We really need to expand the range and quality of the merchandise on offer before people will consider spending their money in the club shop. |

Now I understand why they've put this special shopping day on. It's to make us feel better about them only charging £15 for the Wigan game. That we ST-holders have already paid £25-£30 for. Hmmm. |

Buying a season ticket has always been a gamble. If we had been successful this season, gates would have been to capacity and tickets at a premium. Because it has been a miserable season so far, they are practically giving them away. Cest la vie. I was influenced in renewing my ST again by the prospect of a major strengthening of the team with £10m players arriving, and star names joining our push for Europe. Oh well, I should have known that promises are made to be broken apparently. So my ST has turned out to be an expensive purchase. I can handle that. It's the lies and deceit that has made me re-think my options. Next season, irrespective of where we are playing, I will not renew. I will take my chances on buying tickets game by game. If this season is anything to go by, I will have no problem in seeing the matches I want....and i'll save a few bob too! |

A lot of people will do the same. So fewer ST sales = more seats to flog on a match by match basis = even more special offers / discounts = even more ST holders deterred from shelling out up front to renew the following season = fewer ST sales, etc.... A mess. Our Commercial Dept are cr@p. |

Karren brady and co.... Ive got an offer for you. ill offer you mine and my missus st's at crimbo and you can reimburse me half of what ive paid for them. And then you can try re-selling them to some other fool like I was, who may believe you will put the monies gained from it to some good use. You have treated myself and many others like idiots with your lies and half truths you spout at renewal time. One thing's for certain, until I see some real investment ill keep next seasons money in my pocket. I dont take being ripped off very lightly. As for trying to butter us up with poxy club shop offers, you just insult me even more. If we go down, you should offer us loyal fans who have had their st's for a while a 50% discount as an apology for all the crap (and bullcrap) you have served us this season. |

so season tickets went up what, 4%? what did people expect to happen with regard to prices? surely not a reduction in the face of most other prem clubs putting prices up? so if you expected prices to go up whats the problem? is anybody really daft enough to spend £500+ on the prospect of us signing a few players and getting into europe??? personallyi bought mine because of my love for all things blues and i'll probably do the same until i die despite struggling to afford it more and more. why? because its the blues, i dont look for logic or other peoples promises, its the blues, and if you dont understand that then feel free to walk away imo... ;) |

So should i be expecting a reduction on next seasons ST to take into account the number of reduced price games this season. Or maybe the club should publish a list of the reduced price games in advance so that st holders can make a decision on wether to purchase or not. |
